Our Church

Rising Star Missionary Baptist Church is dedicated to the Glory and Honor of God. It is a focal point as a Christian family serving its members and the surrounding community. It is a company of baptized believers associated by a covenant in the faith and fellowship of the gospel, observing the Ordinance of Christ and governed by His Law. The Church is truly one of historical background and progressive nature.

For ninety-eight (98) years this church has stood as a sentinel pointing men, women, boys, and girls to Christ. It's foundations are built upon truth and righteousness. Its walls embrace love and happiness. Its furnishings are the fruit of a cooperative spirit, love, peace, and long suffering. It is governed with gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, and temperance. In the midst of a world riddles with turmoil, strife, and war, at a time when world ideas are crumbling, this Church has ever held high the banner of Christ, and His words: "UPON THIS ROCK I WILL BUILD MY CHURCH AND THE GATES OF HELL WILL NOT PREVAIL AGAINST IT"
